yeah, that happens. but not very often. if it does, reload and use auto_win or auto_lose to replicate the result, disbanding units if necessary.

LOL, one thing to look out for with auto-win. If you are playing a nomadic faction, you can often win a battle under personal control with way less casualties on your side than auto-win will generate. A good nomad player can win battles with ridiculously low casualty rates to his own army, and most of those will be friendly-fire casualties due to horse archers crossing paths improperly (sometimes you just have to suck it up, since we all know AI pathfinding is about as efficient as a four-year old walking on icy sidewalks for the first time LOL).

Im having a CTD problem in my current campaign which I think is linked with the same problem. So I would just go to the message section by pressing ~ and typing auto_win?

press ~ and type auto_win attacker if you are the attacker and auto_win defender if you are the defender.

XD yeah that's right, It seems the AI utterly underrates horce archers and overrates phalanxes(a bit).

No, u dont have any control but at least u will get a free heroic victory which inclines quite acceptable losses as long as u dont compare it with an AI exploit siege or bridge battle.
