    Default HISTORICAL Lt Infantry Companys

    Does any one know if in the game the Lt Inf companys can move from there battlaion to skirm in front or will we jsut be getting converged Lt inf and grenadier units

    I assume you're talking about light infantry being able to move from dense formation to a more spread out one...I'd assume they can, since it would be silly to remove such a basic mechanic from the game. I imagine it'll go in the 'special ability' slot now, though.

    Sorry if i did not make myself clearer , i was talking about the line battalions that had lt infantry companys . The French line battlalion had 1 lt inf and 1 gren company and 4 line companys

    I am sure that won't be depicted. We have never had differentiation within the units. There will be Light infantry I imagine, but it will be an entire unit. You will probably need to send an entire unit of Light Infantry in loose formation ahead of your Line units to represent skirmishing.

    Ah. As Sol said, I dont think it'll be shown that way. Most likely infantry will march in the same rough organization as in MTWII (judging from the previews). Separate units for lights, if they exist, which I hope they do.
