It's snowing. It's amazing. That is all.
I believe Ichigo means that he's never experienced SNOW. Period. Snow is extremely rare down in Texas. Results are absolutely hilarious when it does happen though.![]()
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.
There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford
My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.
I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.
It is snowing in New Orleans now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
More than I've seen in 15 years. Maybe its even going to be more than then.
Did Hell freeze over or something?
I'll put up some pictures from my apartment.
Edit: Oh no, now it's raining!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good bybeautiful snow. See you next decade.

It snowed up here in Canada a looong time ago. And it's still here. Deep. White. Cold...![]()
here in the ATL when it snows a half inch or so, the entire city grinds to a halt. you see, there are no snowplows.

Hvil i fred HoreToreA man who casts no shadow has no soul.
There was snow, but now it is just freezing rain in the mountains of Central Pennsylvania.
lawlSnow is actually quite common in the panhandle. When I woke up to go home yesterday it took me an hour how to figure out how to get ice off my winshield......DON"T JUDGE ME!
In Maryland, we get mediocre precipitation. I don't remember a big snow storm since that really big one maybe 5/6 years ago when it snowed like a few feet (iirc).
The past few winters, unfortunately, have been pretty lackluster. I think last winter, it barely snowed at all....
"I do not know what I may appear to the world; but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me." - Issac Newton
The news said the last time it snowed this much in New Orleans was in the mid 1960s.
I've lived in Innsbruck, Austria and in northern Montana, near the border with Canada. I've seen snow snow.
However, New Orleans and snow are not common lovers. They don't get together regularly and become one. The meeting is something very special and infrequent. It's like being married to a political prisoner on another continent. Sure, you might see pictures of it regularly on the TV, and people are always talking about it. But when you finally do get together... well, its very special (if a bit awkward).

Oh, you southerners.
I rode my motorcycle in the snow last winter (when we had feet of snow) and I'm planning to again.

Come on guys ... Have you ever rode a motorcycle in snow?
It is a brave endeavor and I am impressed.
Did you have studded tires on that bike like we have here?
Snow and driving is fun and reminds me of a glorious youth. Today the cars have ABS, ESP, front wheel drive and a host of other technical driving aids.
New drivers don't really learn to drive nowadays.
When the first snow comes, the traffic grinds to a halt by young mothers and kids being terrified by the strange slippery surface.
Me.. I get out my old Volvo 740 with backwheel drive and no driving aids, put some real winter tires on and take it for a spin full throttle.
It never goes straight but drifting has never been easier. It is top fun.![]()

It was snowing here last night, it didn't last but I get the feeling we are in for a snowy winter.![]()
At the end of the day politics is just trash compared to the Gospel.
Has anyone noticed we have three 'snow' threads now?
The horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.
It actually snowed here about two months ago, started with hail and ended up snowing about a centimetre. I took pictures it was such a freak event.

I'm reckless. But also that snow is maybe the main reason Texans haven't taken over all of the USA.
Nope, big knobby dirt bike tires though. On an ole '95 200cc Yamaha. This January when I bring it out again I'm going to put studs on it though. The tires are a bit more worn down. It should be some good fun.Did you have studded tires on that bike like we have here?
Unfortunately, I don't have that bike with me right now; only a naked bike. It snowed a bunch today, and tomorrow it's supposed to be 15F for the high temperature.
So right now my mobility is limited to walking distance and the sporadic bus service.
Oh, and Yoyoma, I love your analogy about New Orleans snow.
