    Default AS Wallpaper

    An AS wallpaper this time. And yes this is the Alexander mozaic as found in Pompei. Please correct me if my Ancient Greek is wrong. This is my first year i am learning greek.

    I don't think its that good actually its just a relief of the batle at gaugamela
    and that has nothing to do with the arche seleukia

    Except that the general of Alexander, Seleukos I Nikator, Founder of the AS. Was Alexanders general.
    And no, this is not an good mozaic of the battle of the battle of Gaugamela,. It's an good mozaic of the BATTLE OF IPSOS!And aren't they the heirs of MEGAS ALEXANDROS???

    actually it could be better for the ptolemoi as seeing that Ipsos was ptolemoi territory
    I knew all you said accept for the battle being at ipsos

    lol now I look like a jackass with that tripple post... damn mergers...


    it appears one of my posts is missing from the Casse thread. I suggested removing the word Casse, as it would look alot more pleasing to the eye. And well... Its not written in "celtic" if there is a written celtic language at all. Maybe write it in runes! haha

    only problem for me is the mosaic, it seems compressed in the orizontal side, you could correct this in two manners, one is to cut a bit of left part, or right part, so to give it the right proportion, or a second way is to add some black bands up and down the picture, so that the mosaic got his proportion.
