    Default I love This Game

Dear Lord, A buddy of mine has MTW/VI on his computer and I remembered why this is my favorite game of all time. Just watching/giving him pointers was fun! I need to dust off my old cds and give it a go when I go home.

Somebody remind me why I bought a macbook? Instead of studying or working I could be playing this game!

Kudos to Asai Nagamasa. Nice job stoking the coals of this place

EDIT: Im also going to TRY to download XP on this thing. Last time I tried I nearly broke it and I was be given step by step instructions. We'll see how it goes on try #2

There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Cheers, Strike! Yeah, there's nothing like watching a friend play that sparks up the urge to play once more.

Also, he's now Asai Nagamasa (or Nagamasa for short).

From now on I will be posting from my alt accounts "Martok" and "Andres".

    Joke by the way

-Edit: That fellow below is one of my accounts as well. It's all a ploy by us "horrible old men of total war" to trick everyone into believing that there are more people into MTW than there actually are.

A mate and I run what we call a dual campaign from time to time.
Basically we hook the PC up to the big TV and each take 10 years in charge of the ruling of the faction we choose. For that 10 years only one of us will make all the decisions and make all the movesthen hand the mouse over for the next 10 years.
We do however allocate princes and if they are involved in a battle then whoevers prince it is runs the battle.
This scenario makes for some very interesting campaigns, especially with my steady, reinforce, build the economy style and my mates rush and blitz style so contrasting.
Our current campaign we have called Sicilian Shenanigans...And that is exactly what it is, great fun!

Jeez, Strike, how long's it been since you've played? In all my days stalking the main hall here, I can't recall ever seeing you 'round these parts.

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.
