No Reinforcements Showing Up - Please Help!

Since the 1.2 patch on kingdoms britanica I have not been able to get any of my reinforcements to show up. I saw a wierd message once during battle about some setting on my PC might be off but I looked through all the settings in game and cannot figure it out. I am running the game on the highest settings and use "huge" as my unit size. If anyone knows how to help me pls pls do!!! Thanks a lot.

I have read a couple different threads in here that say to change the unlimited men on battle field to 1.

I opened up the .cfg file to do so with notepad but vistas will not let me save it. It says cannot create the file make sure the path and file name are correct.

Sorry to post on my own post here but I couldnt find an edit button.

So, now that I know how to fix the problem, I just need to know how to save the .cfg file.

You can't edit your post because you are a junior member.

Since you have vista do tho following (if I remember it correctly).
Copy the preference file outside of your program files map and edit it. Remove the property read only (right click) of the original file. Then copy your edited file back on to your original file.

Sadly, the .cfg file is already NOT a read only file.

I tried it as a read only and got a read only error message (obviously huh?)

So, if you can toss some other ideas out there I would be very happy to try them!

Oooops! It did work. I just copied and pasted the file into a notepad file then tried to dump it back into the original file without creating a totaly new file first!

UPDATE:

OK so, I changed the 0 to a 1 and my reinforcements do show up, but they are always really really late. I have never had them show up at the beginning of a battle and I have had roughly 5 battles since I have changed it.

Is part of the newest patch having the reinforcements show up late? Or is this still an issue with my .cfg file?

UPDATE:

Changing the 0 to a 1 has not helped :(

Is there anyone else out there who has any more advice for me?
