I want to add several hoplites (one diferen't for each city) but I came out with the corinthians, and their helmets, so I wonder, were the corinthian helmets still used in EB's time frame?

Hum, I was expecting that... heheh, soo the most common (in most cities) was the one depicted in EB's hoplites? , any other posibility that didn't made it out due to models limits?

I'm sure someone somewhere did, but it would be similar to the mullet. Out on the battlefield, he would be blind and couldn't hear.
But why was the corinthian helmet not used any more? is it because it was really heavy and the new hoplites needed to be fast? a helmet doesn't add that much weight right? so why the spartans didn't use any more either? i thought they were the most old-fashioned

Italians do it better! Chi dice donna dice guai. Abbi donna di te minore, se vuoi essere signore. Donne e buoi dei paesi tuoi. Fiume, grondaia e donna parlatora mandano l'uomo di casa fuora.
And my personal favorite: "Non rimuovere il confine antico fissato dai tuoi padri". In english: "Do not remove the anchent border placed by your fathers". It looses something in the translation......
abou already answered your question: the Corinthian helmet had really poor vision, and you could hear little in it either. It was a relic from the days a hoplite was simply expected to march forward and start spearing the enemy. Nowadays, hoplites need to be able to follow orders on the battlefield as well.
IIRC EB's Spartans use the even-more old-fashioned Pylos helmet.

It's not new, it's old, and it's the Pylos-type. As Ludens stated.
"If it wears trousers generally I don't pay attention."
