In Massalia, the allied puppet government has been set up and a circvs simplex is under construction to increase the happiness of our new friends. In Segesta, coasts have been cleared. In Arretium, a Lvdvs is under construction so education can be improved.

Massalian anti-Roman rebels rioted but were put down with no damage done to the city or soldiers killed. Cicero requests that the Consul of finance keep construction to a minimal level because the denarii is needed to recruit the remaining troops for the Consular Legion; he calculates that it would be completed by the end of this year if he has all the funds available used. (the legion can be completed by spring 261 if he spends as much as possible each turn without getting negative income)
