an Auxilia Copiis Regionis (foreign MIC) has begun construction in Epidamnos as prioritised
a Medicus (Doctor) has begun construction in Bononia
an Auxilia Delectu Regionis has begun construction in Massilia

Military
2 units of accensi has completed their training in Roma and Capua
moved garrison units around northern Italy.
3 units of rorarii and 2 units of leves in legio IV have been replaced by 3 principes and 2 accensi respectively
2 triarii are on board ships bound for Epidamnos, another two are waiting for the ships to return
1 unit of akontistai has begun training in Rhegion
1 unit of leves has begun training in Roma
a clear victory has been won over the band of Libyan spearmen. the survivors no longer pose a threat to us.

Internal Affairs

Semitae (roads) have been laid in Dalmatia
The gods are pleased with the completion of a Fanum Iovis (shrine of Jupiter) in Segestica
slaves have been deployed to clear a section of the coast in Dalmatia
Semitae (roads) have started construction in Segestica

Military
sorted out the mixup of units between legio II and III; returned 1 unit of rorarii to Epidamnos.
Legio III has crossed the Adriatic on the rented merchant fleet.
all of Legio II, except those with Cotta, are in Epidamnos
1 leves has been raised in Arretium
retrained 1 unit of equites and rorarii from Legio III in Roma
Legio I has attacked another Punic force that has marched into Volcallra. A victory was obtained, the remains of the army have retreated northwest into Arvernian lands.

no, when I took the save, the infantry units were already in Epidamnos, somehow; unless you're referring to a few units (rorarii and something I forget) with Cotta somewhere in Epirus.
darn. there must be some way to keep track of units from individual legions other than writing it on post-it notes.

I left my heavy infantry with Caivs Aemilivs in a fort east of Epidamnos. I sent Avlvs (SwissBarbar) back to bring them to me, which would have taken at least two turns. The Everyone mentioned he had moved some into Epidmanos, so thats probs where they are.

Who's got the newest save so I can take it to have a look?

Aww crap, just closed it without saving...gotta fight that damn battle again..hopefully I'll kill Pyrrhus this time..ok, in my battle report when I do it pretend I did the beginning again (you'll know what I mean) It's just the results I need to change.

EDIT: I've also just realised this sounds incredibly convienient and unrealistic. I promise I really did not do that on purpose...I have screenies to prove it

Right, Pyrrhus is dead!!! Mini, I'll need to talk to you when I'm doing my battle report and story. There's something we need to discuss for roleplay reasons.

Right, my light infantry I moved back to Avlvs' (Swiss') command, who then moved into the fort. I want you all to stay there for now, while the heavy infantry stays in Epidamnos. I am returning to Epidamnos with my cavalry.

Everything else to do with the mix up between legions seems to be fine. Here's a screenie of the area as I left it, with the Legio III in Italia, and the Legio II spread across the province:

Closing the save just for now. I have a few things to implement regarding part 2 of the Punic War Event. If anyone would like to make their moves go ahead once there it is time to end the save the thread will be momentarily closed. (ie. Do not end the turn everyone)
