Well it helps if you speak most western europe languages.
Though my spanish and german do need a polish, haven't used those in quite a while.

My english is close to native level and my french is advanced level speaker.
I usually speak spanish with some (hot) argentinian girls on my msn and I sometimes use my german at work.

Even saw a few scientific studies claiming flemish tongues are bigger than avarage to deal with years of multilangual speaking :)

Well, I'll let that count *GGG* You are speaking extraordinarily many languages. Have a ballon for it Swiss are unfair anyway, because we have 4 official languages in our small country, of which we (at least the ones from the Swissgerman speaking part) have to learn at least 2 in school (I had to learn French for 8 years, aaargggghh) + english.

we got 2 official languages and 2 that are semi-official.

Dutch/French = official
German/English = semi

We have a german part in Belgium, but's rather small which is why german is semi.
You can't get around english internationally..


In highschool I had per week:
5 hrs dutch
4 hrs french
4 hrs english
3hrs german
2 hrs spanish
6 hours economics

Theat leaves 8 hours for anything else from science to gym to math ;p

Legio III Campania, under Dux Servivs Longvs, has suffered a clear defeat in Elimya against the large Carthaginian force under Hamalcar. The Legio is now on its way to Roma to be refitted under our new legion reforms. It is now the job of Consular Legio I Roma, under Consul Manivs Cicero, to take the city of Lilibeo and proclaim Sicilia under Roman influence once and for all.

Buildings

Work has begun on working with the Epirite natives into becoming a fighting force for the Republic, with the foundations being laid for a Avxilia Deletv Regionis (Foreign MIC) in Ambrakia.

I have seen a lot of evidence to suggest the Roman countryside is not safe. Therefore I have intructed numerous Stationis Vigilum (Guard Posts) in Italia. This will help protect against the numerous slave and rebel uprisings that have plagued the land for so many years. Merchants can now travel Italian roads in safety, thus enriching our cities further.

Internal Affairs

I have returned to Roma to begin my term in the Consul of the Finance Office.

An Epirite spy once again escaped capture in Ambrakia.

We are losing a lot of cash to a high level of corruption. Therefore I am planning to use my term in office to improve law and general health and happiness in Italian cities, in the hope that these high levels will subside.

General Manivs Clavdivs Cicero has been officially recalled by the Senate of Roma to return to the city in Triumph, and to parade through the streets as our victorious war leader!

Taxes have been raised to Very High in Messana.

The city of Massilia needs upgrading, though to have done so would be to spend most of our remaining funds before the Consul of the Legions has had his say. Therefore Massilia is a priority for the next report (turn).

Foreign Affairs

The Makedonian garrison in Demetrias is significantly growing, though there is no further intelligence.

A Seleukid diplomat has been spotted in Byzantion.

Small Byzantine forces move west into Epirite Makedonia.

We, the Romani, are once again the Most Advanced Faction!

There is some Makedonian interferrence in Aitolia, and land we have not pledged any diplomatic stance with, though it borders our province of Epirus to the south.

The Epirite garrison in Pella is larger than the Legio II, though composition unknown. This does not include the forces stationed in Byzantion and north of Makedonia, both believed to be of large structure also.

Someone has tried to move a character called Caivs using the console. Caivs Avrelivs Cotta (Me) is the working Caivs. As I was in Ambrakia, my character is now invisible. I am not very happy. Is this reversable? Or will I have to cut his life short and take Titvs as my new character?

We need to designate legions to each province, and start deciding who gets to be PG and where.
So those PG's in their turn can choose their quaestors etc

furthermore, I think beanerz should have just declared the save open for 24 hours, not just ending the turn like so; in case anyone has moves; and also to prolong the duration of his consular office, since how long he stays is dependent on how long 12 turns take to pass. but the last statement is just nonsense.
