Hi, I'm not exactly sure about the infantry composition of Legio I Apulia, are there supposed to be 3 hastati, 1 principes or 2 hastati, 2 principes? because when I got command of it, the composition was the latter, but currently it's 3 hastati and 1 principes

and I'm also not sure what this is for, because Arpi is well-garrisoned

1 Principes was trained for the Arpi Garrison.

well i trained another Hastati for you because i want to start making a new legion after we take rhegion. This way i already will have one of the more vet troops ready. also that meant to say sent to Arpi for momentary garrison

yes, because Cnaevs is already the name of the heir (Cnaevs Cornlivs Blasio) and "Cornelivs Scipio" is also the Gens and Branch of Lvcivs Cornelivs Scipio (aka Roka).

oh and when the Legio I Apulia's troops have finished retraining, can you just leave them in their respective cities? I'm going to move them towards Rhegion instead of making them rally at some place and making progress slower. I'm posting it here in case you missed my SOT.

and browsing through the save file, I notice we have another spy stationed on Sicilia

well there are some people who said they were going to do something today (or so) such as TCV who said that he'll make his IC introduction and you said something about making Roka a provincial dictator, but that would probably be in the next congressional session,
however,since probably desert's (servius APR) going to tag along with Legio I Apulia nearby so I don't think he'll move these few seasons since there's not much movement of troops around
Baen's with the legion so he'll not be moving
but potocello is unheard from, perhaps he's doing some christmas things; probably won't mind if we just skip a few uneventful turns.

edit: I think as said somewhere before, we'll be getting another subforum soon so we can advertise more easily. and also, everyone else is probably at work or sleeping

edit: Roka will get a diff rank at the CC ya because im proposing to add a new rank that will be more like a temporary governor you'll see. And then ill also post the event.

(how many times is the turn going to be ended today? I think we should just fast forward to the turn when we finish retraining (spring 270), which is just a turn more; or perhaps this turn (winter 271, because some people might want to role play some stuff)

edit: oh actually I also have a charter amendment planned for the next Congressional Session; I'll just PM you my suggestion first

edit2: reading through the senatorial library, I think Lvcivs Cornelivs Scipio (Roka)'s activity should be 1, because he voted in the 1st congressional session

Navarro, perhaps we should stop fastforwarding the game now, to allow people to catch up; taking the city can wait, and the other players are probably going to role-play a fair bit when they get online.

Bloody hell! I only went to sleep for seven hours and a tidal wave of activity has struck! Let me catch up-lots of roleplaying to do. I was halfway through my story last night when my computer just suddenly shut Firefox down, and i didnt write it in Word so it didnt save. So I'm gonna have to start again now, wont make that mistake again.

Oh and guys, it is Christmas. You cant expect that many people-i.e.Potocello and Roka-will be on here that much over Christmas. It should pick up again once the world calms down. Be patient.

yeah, but navarro decided to fast-forward through a few turns because there were not many things to be done 'xcept retraining and waiting for the legio I apulia; and probably moving a few units to garrison, other than that, there's nothing much the other people can do for now, until Navarro decides to raise a new legion during the next Congressional session (which hopefully would have more than 4 people voting)

it's supposed to be in 269 BC IIRC, which is 3 turns from now, check the senatorial library, navarro probably put something about it there.

oh and don't worry about the activity/role-playing, actually nothing much happened to your character except:
-sitting around in Arpi gave you a "playwright" ancillary
-you got the "Spartan" trait (+2 management) (that also means you can role-play your character being more calm/restrained and not storm into my tent! )
-in two seasons, you moved together with the rest of Legio I Apulia to the walls of Rhegion

269 is not just a selected date. Is the end of a consul term which is 3 years. See each three years new consuls are elected, currently only everyone and I can run for consul so at the end of 269 (assuming no one else is a Dux or higher) It will probably be me as one consul and him as the other.
