It doesn't need to take up any sessions if u ask me?
If we all agree that makign some extra dinari is a good thing, we can just agree to disband the legion now and just delay replacing them.

We don't need any edicts or anything for that :)
Neither do we need any sessions for the whole loan-thing..
If we agree, the CoF can order the building to start and fix the loan (mind: ONLY if we dont have enough money)

IN THEORY : my reforms do foresee something called quick-votes. Since they passed last session, we could make use of it, right?
These are the kind of things that would suit quick-voting :)

PS: it was said the legion has to be discharged. Which means the whole legion must be disbanded. That's how I read it anyway. Otherwise it would have stated: a few units, or which units..

you have forgot,

Standard Legions can be disbanded only during the Congressional Session by the Senate through an Edict

since this part is untouched by your rule changes, it is presumably still in place; we can't disband a whole legion; even if you call it "decommissioning", it may have units disbanded and replaced though; for example the damned edict 5.3.

Besides we're not disbanding the legion.. We're just disbandign all it's current units to replace them with raw recruits.

That rule you quote I think, is that no legion may be erased from existense without an edict.
Besides, the order comes from Navarro, it wasn't my idea :)

I am just proposing that we do not immediately recruit new units, instead delay a bit so we have a few turns extra income.
It isnt long to the next session anyway, so we're not talking bout 10 turns here..

Hey! Stop pissing on my beloved Edict 5.3! It was AWESOME, and the majority agreed!

Personally I want our legions (that is, the whole legions) to be disbanded regularly. That way we don't get any über-experienced armies that are just boringly overpowered.

As long as you make it "add_money -xxxx*1.1", I'm okay with it. (Of course, the cheat wouldn't look like that, but that's not how I mean it, of course.) This may very well be what you meant anyway, I just want this to be clear.
