Part I: Story of Dentatvs
Like all young men of Roma, Manivs Dentatvs started his military and political training at a young age. His father, named Manivs as well, first taught his son what it meant to be a politician. Young Dentatvs was quick to learn to make his words as powerful as the legionary's sword. However, the young man was just a pleb and it would take the utmost heroics to prove himself otherwise...
292 BC
"Senator Caecus, your scheme here is as vile as the rest of you patrician scum!" Dentatvs shouted in the old Curia at a notable senator whom ,it had now been revealed, plotted a scheme to get elected two patricians as Consul. "How dare you stand here and try to take the power from the plebs. As tribune of the plebs I demand this man be cast out! He stands here and speaks of unity, and divides this senate like a venomous snake!"
Blasphemy! Hes Right! The senate trembled from storms of anger. Recount the vote! Recount! I demand veto!
"This man lies! I am a man of the people! How dare he shout this useless tongue toward me...I would...I would never!" Senator Caecus attempts to defend himself now outnumbered by opposition.
"You dare to enter this chamber, and strip the people who matter most in Roma!"
The senate broke out, fists swinging! Scrolls thrown about. Senator Caecus like the rat he was flees the scene...
