On a serious note, it probably would be a good idea to move the thread to the Backroom where the opt-in option applies. IMO it has the potential to upset people with different cultural views (e.g. strictly religious individuals) as much as political discussion does.

I would have to say that I support TuffStuffMcGruff's call here - in fairness, both threads should be in the same place, whether it be frontroom or backroom - just for the sake of equality.

Given the choice between those two, I would suggest that the backroom is probably the more appropriate location for these threads.

Just my two florins worth....

no one should even care where they are

i highly doubt some religious nut is going to be furious over where to threads are positioned, that someone highly religious shouldn't even be looking at in the first place

The more important thing, I think, is that wherever they are, they should be in the same place...

You are quite right, those who may be offended should simply opt not to open the thread, but sadly the world doesn't always work that way. At least if both were to be in the backroom, it can be shown that steps had been taken to minimise any possible offence.

No but if they were both in the backroom that would be prejudice to the frontroom as the dominant babe thread is in the frontroom, so i would create another protest campaign to move the babe thread back to the frontroom
