I would have to say that I support TuffStuffMcGruff's call here - in fairness, both threads should be in the same place, whether it be frontroom or backroom - just for the sake of equality.

Given the choice between those two, I would suggest that the backroom is probably the more appropriate location for these threads.

no one should even care where they are i highly doubt some religious nut is going to be furious over where to threads are positioned, that someone highly religious shouldn't even be looking at in the first place

You are quite right, those who may be offended should simply opt not to open the thread, but sadly the world doesn't always work that way. At least if both were to be in the backroom, it can be shown that steps had been taken to minimise any possible offence.

Just out randomly making a point, I'm sure some USA cooperation or other said a while ago that 40% of their clients were female. Link.

Alternatively, you could look at another report which says that women actually outnumber men (64% of online gamers being women). Link.

In addition, statistically 3.6% of all people in the UK are openly gay too (although something like 6.1% have had some sort of "crush" on somebody of the same gender at some point yet don't identify under the gay category). This was a random sample taken in 1992, but more recent surveys put the numbers higher. The figure is similar in the US with 4% of the population identifying under the gay spectrum (including bisexual) according to CNN exit polls for the 08 election. Link.

No but if they were both in the backroom that would be prejudice to the frontroom as the dominant babe thread is in the frontroom, so i would create another protest campaign to move the babe thread back to the frontroom

Actually, it would make more sense to move the Hunk Thread next to its sibling in the Frontroom (which is, as others have pointed out, the Kingdom of Peace and Love).
