Welcome to the Org, Stinger123! Sorry to hear you lost one of your MTW disks (), but we're certainly pleased to have you with us.

Thanks for the warm welcome :)
I'll have to start saving up money to buy MTW again after I blew all of it on a X360 game.
BTW, is Rome: Total War any good? I have heard mixed things about it.

Heh. That depends on who you ask.

Personally, I can't stand Rome. The cartoony-looking visuals, the cringe-worthy voicework, and non-existent AI almost completely destroy any immersion factor the game might've had.

The visuals aren't as cartoonish as those in M2TW and the voice acting isn't a problem as you can just mute it. Then once the flashy arrow markers are turned off, the minimal UI is enabled and all factions are modded playable it's not quite so insulting to one's intelligence. I agree though that is has nothing on the former two titles and the AI and path-finding is abysmal in post MTW1 TW games as a whole.

You sir, should install Europa Barbarorum then

Completely changes the game. Amazing script, story, realistic voice-work for every faction, and better AI.

lol, i tried the Rome: Total War demo. I like its graphics, but I do kinda have to agree with the whole terrible voicework thing....
