Good Plan my fellow Quastor! My only fear is that the barbains could break though our middle into the ring. Would we have any reserves to counter it if such thing happens (which I doubt it will!). Plus, I do not want the cohorts outside the ring to get cut off if they get lost in the foggy/snowy mountains.

Of course, I forgot to refer to this as it is very obvious. We shall be using scouts throughly throughout the entire operation. Should the barbarians fail to be provoked by our armies (This will not happen due to their bloodlusted and war-like nature, devoid of any sense of strategy), or fail to believe in our double agents (Which I also doubt since these will provide their leaders, who will be losing many men in their attack of the 5 place, with a very easy path to victory, such a thing will be immediatly accepted and enforced.) The distances are rather small, and surely you do not believe that of our cohorts, our leaders do not have a strong sense of orientation?

Were we facing Greeks or Carthaginians, men with an incredible sense of strategy, or Iberians, who could go through mountains as if they were planes, we would not succeed. However, these men have neither advantage, and the terrain is incredibly favourous to us. Victory is certain. The only men who could do better than me would be either Alexander; Hannibal as much as it costs me to affirm this or our great leader Caesar. Furthermore I have the greatest legion in the Roman Republic under my command, how could I not come up with an ingenous plan worthy of comparison with the greatest heroes of time? We should in fact ask for Caesar's opinion.
