    Default laptop cooling pads

i need a laptop cooling pad for my laptop, since it heats up when playing crysis. i need a reliable one with double fans, and must be able to sufficiently cover a 15" laptop.
here is the one i found that looks good:

I take it you don't like toasted nuts?

Or that classic Steven Segal film, Fire Down Below?

Try before you buy! Depending on the location of your onboard fans you might actually choke off airflow and make your laptop warmer inside. Use something like Speedfan to monitor temps as you go through your usual routine with and without the cooling pad.

I found no cooling pads with fans that helped my laptop and most of them actively made it worse. I did buy a simple 'Thermaltake' flexible pad that insulates my lap without denying airflow to the fans. Good luck.

I used that very Antec fan on my last laptop. It worked OK.

Like Ramses II CP advises, I recommend you study the actual airflow scheme of your laptop first: does it exhaust out the rear of the machine, or the bottom? If out the rear, the Antec will do you little good. If out the bottom, it will help. If you go with the Antec, be certain it's "pointed" the right way, drawing hot air away from the lappy, not toward it.

I had mine tipped at about a 15-degree angle to allow the hot air room enough to blow away.

On the plus side, that Antec's USB plug is a piggyback type, allowing you to still have an open USB port.
Be well. Do good. Keep in touch.
