Maybe you could try Rome Total Realism - The Iberian conflict. It's a mini-campaign centered around Iberia and Hamilcar Barcas campaign to conquer it.

It has been out since a while and it has gotten really great reviews. ( I myself haven't played with it yet)
There next project there working on is called "Fate of empires" and will be about the punic wars and most of it's participators.

I know its not really another timeframe but it might be interresting.
