    Default Help! EB CTDs when loading a campaign/custom battle...

    hey everyone,

    i have recently been given a shiny new computer. i installed rome, updated it to 1.5, and then installed eb to 1.2. everything seemed fine; it loads up to the main screen and lets me go as far as selecting a faction to start a campaign. But when i select one and get ready to begin, it crashes to the desktop with no explanation as to why.

    ive been looking at the help threads on here and have tried as many as i can. sadly, validateinstall does not seem to want to work on this pc; i have java installed and it still refuses to work.

    The specs of my pc are as follows;

    Intel 2 quad core 8200 2.33ghz
    nvidia geforece 9200 gs
    4gb of ram
    i have vista, 64 bit, as well

    if you can, please help!
    thanks

    Have you tried to upgrade and downgrade your video drivers?

    Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

    I do NOT answer PM requests for help with EB. Ask in a new help thread in the tech help forum.
