    Haha, I know.

Until the last minute I still thought I was pro-town and tried hard to get rid of the mafias and made sure for a townie win. And by the way I wasn't blocked... I made sure of that.

    Sigurd owns!!!

Also, great game, YLC. I'm afraid I'm still pretty confuzzled as to what exactly has been going on for a while, however...

    Eagerly awaiting the commentary.

If anyone is interested... my PMs...
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    ROLE PM
You are John Shlin, a 28 year old cop down on his luck. You've got a good heart, and your always ready to lend a hand as selflessly as you can, but your job is absolutely distasteful. You constantly see the corruption that has embedded itself within your precinct, and it sickness you and makes you burn with fury.
    Role
You received the mysterious note just like all the guests, and with the sudden strange goings on, you've taken it upon yourself to figure out this whole mess and put those behind it in cuffs.

You are the Detective (Pro-Town). Once per night, you may pick one player to investigate. You will receive a summary of their guilt (or non-guilt) and if they took an action that night, but will not be aware of the nature of the action.

    N1
You wait until it's completely dark out before sneaking across the hall to ATPG's room, quickly picking the lock and darting inside. You quietly go through his things - robes, a cross, a bible, and whats this? A playboy magazine? Well, seems you've found a preacher, and he's not the perfect saint you'd expect either.

You finish searching through everything else and come to the conclusion this preacher isn't the root of it - even if he's a perv. You quietly lock the door from the inside as you sneak out, back to your own room.

    N2
You wait until it's completely dark out before sneaking across the hall to Reenk Roinks's room, quickly picking the lock and darting inside. You quietly go through his things - books on the paranormal, amulets and sigils, some weird electronic equipment...and whats this? A pair of pink panties? Well, seems you've found a wierdo, and he seems to be into drag as well.

You finish searching through everything else and come to the conclusion this wierdo isn't the root of it - even if he's a perv. You quietly lock the door from the inside as you sneak out, back to your own room.

    N3
You wait until it's completely dark out before sneaking across the hall to Quintus's room, quickly picking the lock and darting inside. You quietly go through his things - some books on the supernatural, a PSP, Mp3 player, and a journal...and it's filled with some strange writing, and absurd rants. His handwriting seems to waver too, from elegant to very poor...seems to almost be a weird work of fiction.

You finish searching through everything else and come to the conclusion this kid isn't the root of it - even if he's a bit off his rocker. You quietly lock the door from the inside as you sneak out, back to your own room.

    N4
You wait until it's completely dark out before sneaking across the hall to ATPG's room, quickly picking the lock and darting inside. You quietly go through his things - robes, a cross, a bible, and whats this? A playboy magazine? Well, seems you've found a preacher, and he's not the perfect saint you'd expect either.

You finish searching through everything else and come to the conclusion this preacher isn't the root of it - even if he's a perv. You quietly lock the door from the inside as you sneak out, back to your own room. And stop.

Wait, haven't you investigated this guy before?

    N5
You wait until it's completely dark out before sneaking across the hall to Andre's room, quickly picking the lock and darting inside.

Hang, you have! Hm, must be his playboy collection you keep coming back for...

    N6
You wait until it's completely dark out before sneaking across the hall to Sigurd's room, quickly picking the lock and darting inside. You quietly go through her things - school books, a laptop and phone, a handful of money, and whats this? A Catholic school girls outfit? Well, seems you've found a student, and she's either a saint or is into some kinky stuff.

You finish searching through everything else and come to the conclusion this girl isn't the root of it - and stop drooling! You quietly lock the door from the inside as you sneak out, back to your own room.

Reading this leads to more questions... how can Andres be an "angel" when he reads Playboy magazines?

You would have won the game, since Sigurd would have failed his victory conditions.

Also, he was open for a hit that night - shlin sent in a order countermanding QJC's and thus negating QJC attempt at protection.

Again, VERY winnable for you - but of course, the Daemon's also go after the Sexy Priests

No, a block would not have negated a kill - and only shlin sent in his order, no one else did, so for that night, the Ghosts did nothing.

A List of all night actions, per night

    Night 1

Switch targeting for Askthepizzaguy and Andres

    Protect Chaotix

Investigate Askthepizzaguy - now Andres - innocent result

    Roleblock Askthepizzaguy - now Andres

Have Askthepizzaguy kill Andres - Andres now kills Askthepizzaguy - Andres is roleblocked, kill does not go through and Andres does not protect Chasotix

    Night 2

Switch targeting for Askthepizzaguy and TevashSzat

    Protect Sigurd - Protection successful

Investigate Reenk Roink - Reenk has not yet commited a mafia like action - innocent result

    Roleblock Reenk Roink

Convert Beefy - Fails, because Reenk Roink is blocked

Have White Eyes kill Chaotix27 - Successful - White eyes is now considered "guilty"

    Night 3

Ghosts Investigate - Reenk Roink - Innocent Result

Switch targeting for Sigurd and Taka

Protect Sigurd - Protection successful - But instead Taka is protected

    Investigate Quintus.JC - Innocent result

    No roleblock

    Convert White Eyes - Successful

Have Shlin kill Sigurd - Failed, Sigurd is protected, but the attempt is made on Taka

    Night 4

Ghosts do nothing (recieved no PM)

Switch targeting for Sigurd and TevashSzat - Fails, Seirikhaan is roleblocked

    Exorcise 777Ares777 - Exorcism successful

Investigate Andres - Gains same result as first night (LOL)

    Sereikhann is roleblocked

Convert 777Ares777 - Successful, but Ares is immediatly killed - next conversion results in a Ghost who is loyal to the house.

Have Quintus kill Sigurd - Failed, Quintus is immune to night abilities except the mafia night kill

    Night 5

    Ghosts investigate Seireikhaan -

    No target switching

    Protect Reenk Roink - Successful

Investigate Andres - Gains same result as first night (LOL)

    TevashSzat is roleblocked

Convert taka - Unsuccessful, next convert is loyal to the house.

Have seireikhaan kill ATPG - Successful, Seireikhaan is now considered guilty.

    Night 6

    Ghosts roleblock Reenk Roink

    No target switching

    Exorcise Khaan - Exorcism unsuccessful

    Investigate Sigurd - Innocent result

    No roleblock

    No conversion this night

Have shlin kill Quintus.JC - Failed, Sigurd automatically protects him - Sigurd lives but does not kill attacker.

    Night 7

    Ghosts protect Andres

    No target switching

    Exorcise White_Eyes - Exorcism unsuccessful

Investigate Glyphz - No result, killed before he could complete it, although result would have been guilty

    Kill Seireikhaan again

Convert Sigurd - Successful, creates Avatar of Malice. From now on, all future conversions are simply mafia.

    Glyphz kills shlin28

    Night 8

    Ghosts divided - nothing happens

    No target switching

Exorcise Glyphz - Unsuccessful, Glphz isn't a Ghost

    No investigation

    Kill Andres

Convert Andres - Fails, Andres becomes an Angel, but it is endgame and thus his role is useless

    No kill by Glyphz

So I was the only one who sent in the "Block" QJC order?

To clarify for the confused - Reenk's role was to convert Dead townies into mafia. His ability had a 75% chance of success on a basic townie. He never once killed anyone, so he would have never appeared guilty. Reenk also knew, by way of the Ghost Council, when he was going to be roleblocked - thus, he simply did not send in a night order when you guys roleblocked him. When you investigated him, his "calm meditation" was him astrally projecting himself into the mind of White Eyes and converting him - since it wasn't a kill, he did not appear guilty.

Damn, Reenk's had a great game. I never would of even suspected him if it weren't for his votes in the last round.

Can I see Sigurd's PM? I thought we were the good guys/gal.

QJC I knew you were an unwitting bad guy even though you didn't.

I had suspicions of Sigurd from the start (I even told glyphz and White eyes not to speak with him).

Then I insisted he showed me his PM.

Here is when I realized what a bad situation I was in:

But I can't see that my pm does have anything that would be too helpful:

You are a Ghost (Pro-Town). As a Ghost, your powers have increased tenfold, but you need more of your own kind to begin using these abilities to effectiveness. Since there are more three of you however, you may begin using your abilities now.

Investigation - Once every other night, allows you to investigate a player, and see where they go during the night. Requires 2/3rds majority.
Roleblock - Once every other night, allows you to block the night action of a player. Requires 2/3rds majority.
Protect - Once every other night, requires unanimous vote from all "Ghosts". Allows you to protect living player.

All abilities must be put too a vote, and all who voted for that ability are considered having used that ability. Your abilities override other players abilities, and you cannot be roleblocked.

You may not communicate with any of the living players except Quintus.JC, the Little Boy (Pro-Town). You may not communicate with other people outside of the game about your abilities either, or your status as Ghost.

Remember, you may not quote your role or quote any PM's I send you.

    Good Luck, all over again

Your buddies are Chaotix, taka, White Eyes and Beefy for now

Here is the Ghost Council Quicktopic

    Password is "ghost"

But that's your cover! You work for me now, missy, and you better do what the House and I say!

You are now a Avatar of Malice (Serial Killer) - you are our pawn now, and your all the Houses pent up anger at being invaded by the living and the damned! You may select either one Ghost or one living player to kill - your ability cannot be countered and has a 75% chance of success.

Because of your state as half living, half dead, you count as a living and dead player for abilities and number counts, as well as the lynch. However, you can't vote.

Because of your connection to your brother, you mustn't kill him.

Good Luck, my little pawn of death *giggles maddeningly*
And then you have this tidbit:

Nope, not as far as I know - your mafia friends are White Eyes, Reenk Roink, and Glyphz. Remember, no being naughty and spoiling the fun (OOC: No reveals of any sort to the town, ghost or living ). *giggles*
Note that this might spoil the fun... I don't get the "I am a pawn" part, nor that being mafia is yet another cover for me. This is something that were not mentioned when I helped him design this game.

Note the cover as the Mafia thing? I knew he was not really our family then.

To clarify, QJC was always Pro-town, however, the Avatar of Malice (as a neutral role) would have required QJC to live anyway. This was an attempt at balancing the AoM, since it was disguised as both protown and mafia, allowing it to easy fool both parties and use all that information to it's own benefit.

Your partner in this venture is Gader'el. Although he is more overt then you, he will serve his purpose to eliminate the foolish mortals so you can then complete your part.

You received the mysterious note just like all the guests, and you see an opportunity to set up your very own paranormal labs. Excitement grows within you at the sheer possibilities...

You are the Psychic (Pro-Town). You can hear and speak to the dead players. You can send and receive PM's from dead players and "Ghosts".

Good Luck, and PM me for any questions you may have

    My actions:

Night 1: Nothing no dead people.
Night 2: Convert Beefy - failed because Sigurd had sex with me.
Night 3: Convert White eyes - succeeded while the ghosts were watching me.
Night 4: Convert Ares - failed - Andres exorcised him immediately
Night 5: I believe this was Askthepizzaguy or Chaotix (I really wanted you on for all your support ) - failed because maybe a general fail of my ability as well OR maybe because Andres came in and started preaching
Night 6: Nothing - was sick didn't send in PM - but was blocked anyway
Night 7: Convert Sigurd - success, but not really
Night 8: Convert Andres - failed it looks like because he was an angel?

    Wow. Just.... wow.

This is probably the first game where I have been completely blindsided- I never suspected Reenk once, even though he did not win, and although it was me that realized White_Eyes was probably a bad ghost, I though it was only because he was lynched. And then Sigurd turning into an SK like that, and winning the game!

This is also one of the strangest mafia games I've ever played. Reading through those last four pages right now, I was confused out of my mind. This whole game doesn't make sense to me.

Nevertheless, it was entertaining. Good game to both Sigurd and Reenk!

Sigurd started pro-town and got converted after dead in one of the last rounds?

Reminds me of Cosa Nuova II...

Sorry that I didn't get involved more deeply, YLC. I blame Ephesus and being in three mafia games at the same time

Sorry that I didn't get involved more deeply, YLC. I blame Ephesus and being in three mafia games at the same time

    Congrats mafia

    Mafia tactic haiku
    Must lynch Sigurd first
    in doubt afterwards lynch 'khaan
    lynch suspects later

Ok, I been thinking that this was a great game and everything.....but one thing about this game really bothered me....

It had to do with Quintus's role....when you really think about it, his role was WAY overpowered.....

1.As a Pro-town living, he could veto all ghost actions and direct them himself, he also had a (role-blocking sister who he knew from the start who he could trust...) he also could not be possesed by glyphz...we tried and failed....

2.As a dead Pro-town he could again veto all ghost actions.....and worse....if Reenk corrupted him, he would become a super power-Mafia demon.....I don't want to even think of what that was capeable of.....

3.And lastly, he seemed to have been insured win.....no matter what.....EVEN in a SK kills all ending....
since, the SK's mission was to ENSURE that Quintus lived no matter what......

4.Now I feel really cheated about this...(I am so jealous) as a Pro-town ghost, I was able to do.....nothing really since, Quintus would just veto it if he didn't think it was good. Even when I was a Mafia ghost....I HATED having no ability's but my ability to lie and bluff.....and only spy....

As I put a good deal of thought into this game.....8 hours in total just thinking up the "vengueful ghost lie" and how to pull it off......on Reenk's command Even though I knew I had no defense and was only drawing a Pro-town's attention for one night.....and helping to get Khaan killed
Anyway, I am a little dismoralelzed that everything I did....(which worked greatly) went down the drain....because we had a Pro-town/could be Mafia/SK living win conidtions role....which would have won, no matter how it went in the closing rounds.....

So I am, really bummed out by this and if you really are doing a seqeul to this...I feel I need to pass...since hardwork and lieing in your Mafia games doesn't cut it anymore.....only ability's of the Pro-town, Mafia and SK's.....

I admit, it made me think and bluff on a level I never thought I was capuable of....but I really feel like it was all wasted.....even though I had a blast
