Before any flames fly, if you want the team to listen to you, its best to quote an actual source (preferably print) that makes the claim. Also, rather than make blunt assertions its better to phrase in a "I have a source or sources that state Y rather than X so should X be considered an error?", followed by some quotes from said sources. Respectfulness is the key as the team has invested a lot into making this game.
Especially making claims like "Wiki said this" or "Google said that" are generally not good unless you can provide a link to a reputable source from it.
I can tell you aren't trying to be mean are anything; just figured you should know the best way to approach them, especially considering past claims others have made in a much more assertive and combative manner.
