    Default Game Crashed After Battles

I thought this was pretty strange. On a few different occasions when a battle was won, about to be won, or loading up to the main map, there were points where my game would disappear and a message would show up saying "Rome: Total War has stopped working".

There were two instances this occurred when I was playing as Baktria. And just recently, I was playing my Epeiros campaign and the same thing happened. There were not very many units on the battlefield, and the computer I have is fairly new (after my last one crashed in the middle of an Epeiros campaign). I can always continue from a saved game and the problem doesn't show up. The problem though is that it's so unexpected. Has this been known to happen to anyone else?
