MTW/VI Final Tournament?

Hey All,


I know there are only a handful of players left who do this great game (me included), actively or semi-actively. I fear one day there will be no more MTW/VI players, due to the retirements of us old timers () and/or if they (GS) close down the servers down. I am proposing one last 1v1 Tournament for MTW/VI. I am a admin here at Tournament Central, a known RTW/NTW2/M2TW Tournament site (http://z7.invisionfree.com/Tournamen...ex.php?act=idx), and I figured I can host one season there. I think we should band together and do this one last time, for fun, and for the fun of the game!

I won't do this unless I know there is support. Come on all, in 5 or 10 years, we might not be playing this game anymore. I used to and still love this game, and out of all the MP games I played, on any TW game or FPS/MMORG Games, I still love MTW and VI the most.

Yeah I really don't see why not its been about over a year or so since i last step foot on mtw/vi. As we wont no for sure if gamespy will close the server, only time will tell.

Btw will this be in both sides of the game or just in VI? Probably daren't ask as mtw was a cav swipe fest but was still fun in exploiting the glitch if you weren't too lazy to attempt it :)

So I shall bring this up to as many contacts and forums as possible however still skeptical to gaining enough entries to this tournament as I've seen multiple attempts of forming a tournament but some later were fairly successful.

To elaborate more on this we shall see how many entries we can gain maybe say minimium of 10 players? If we can get over that if we can ensure that there will be a tournament on the cards.

We need at least 8 players to make this work, hopefully more, but if not, at least 8 players .
