my medival total war cd broke and i really want to play is there any place where i can download the game or rome total war or medival total war 2 for free?

I would advise you to have a look in your local games stores. I've seen the Gold Edition still on sale for as little as £10 over here. Alternatively you can have a look at online sellers. I have seen some used and new going very cheaply.
