So which factions would you like to see in a demo?

There is no option such as I don't want a demo, because this is for DEMO FANATICS :)

This brings up a good point, I wonder which faction is going to be the 'standard' one. like England in M2TW and Julii on RTW. Anyway, I would very much like to see the 13 Colonies or India, they're entirely new and it would be a great opportunity to introduce new units and building structures, as well as resources.

The standard faction is almost certainly Britain.

I voted for a random faction. Purely because I'm far too cool to play as the popular factions.

I like Prussia for their white and black colour scheme. It's just so ... efficient looking. Very German .

You left out France and a few other covers….but what I want to know is if they are paying Ioan Gruffudd for his picture being on the cover?

Well spotted! I guess someone forgot to recolour the background uniforms. Hope that gets sorted out for the retail version of the cover.

I'm just glad that from what I've seen the Polish uniforms will be dark red, and we'll probably be getting the Polish version here in Lithuania (it was Poland-Lithuania, although you couldn't really tell from the faction preview...), so it won't be that noticeable if that someone gets sloppy again and forgets to recolor.

I put my vote on Sweden. I do look forward playing as the Swedes, since this is the first time "my" country appears in a TW game, also it will be interesting playing a TW game with at least some focus on northern Europe.

This is a huge error on my part.

Just after voting I realised that I didnt want to spoil the game. In demos I simply want to test the basic without even touching the real deal. This means that the demo hopefully contains some insignificant and uninteresting country... like Great Brittain. Yes, that should do it.

I think it's almost certain we will get a 13 Colonies v British battle, as that seems to have been in nearly every trailer, and alot of screenshots and wall papers.

I'd like to see something with a little more culture difference to though, like maybe Ottomans vs a Euro faction or Euro's vs India Faction type thing.

I think they will be the most versatile to play as a demo, being not to big, land based in Europe, and a good navy around the world.

Great Britain vs France.

You won't want to give away too much in the demo, but a nice open plains battle between the old foes will whet our appetite, shut us up and allow us to see how the new 'ranged' fighting works.

The game will then still have shiney new naval combat, new agents, new provinces, urban fighting, and politics for the final few weeks of arguing.

Plus if something glaring is wrong CA can still make minor adjustments.

I want a Sea Battle of Great Britain vs. Spain. Pretty much the ordinary thing one should expect.

And then of course the Land Battle between Prussia and India! Yeah, I just want to see it!

It was only after I cast my vote for the random, undheard of faction (the Cree, perhaps?) did I realize I lost my opportunity to vote for all of the factions. Oh, the shame!!!! Shame has been inflicted upon a defeated king!!!
