    End Day Five...

"But I am not! Why are you trying to kill me, even after I all I have been through!"

Ivan looked down at the pleading woman before him, and he could not feel but some pity. She had survived the slaughter aboard the Haven, only to be met with death upon the Ravager by her own kind's hands. They didn't even know her name.

"I am sorry...but this is the way it must be. You might be tainted with Nephilim influence...I cannot allow on board any longer - Dr.Tvormirov, administer the drug."

As Dr.Tvormirov slide over to the woman, she locked eyes with him for a moment, and a silent message crossed between them. Tvormirov stumbled back a bit before shaking his head clear. Ivan looked quizzically at the good doctor. "Is anything wrong Tvormirov?"

Tvormirov shook his head. "Nothing Captain, just some...old memories." Ivan nodded. "Continue then."

As Tvormirov injected the personality destroying and preserving fluid, the lone survivor of the lonely haven looked over at Guntram Faust, a smug grin on her face. "I win..." were her last words before she collapsed, Baasch and Grigorii picking up and hauling the body away...

I am indeed a most trusted adviser to the town

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Actually I have finally been getting some luck, and my associates are doing an incredible job and they should be getting all the credit, which they will when they lead the town to victory!

Right now I am following some interesting leads on both Sigurd and seireikhaan, whispers from the crew as you may call it. However, these whisperers are not exactly the most town loving according to Reenktuition either. As of now, you will only see Guntram smoking a joint in his quiet room, but that can change (especially if my associates come up with a lead).

Also this should be stated in advance:

In the even that I kill somebody and it was the wrong person, please forgive me, I only was doing what I thought best, and also, there has come to me word of a man who can revive the dead as machines, reversing some of the harm.

Actually, I think khaan is Grigorii, not Dr. Tvormirov. Either way, it's hardly condemning evidence.

It seems that boudica was Lust from the write-up, but I cannot help but feel that lynching her has not necessarily gotten rid of her.

    Khaan's reveal....
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I am a Grigorii Ostranovii, Lieutenant aboard the Ravager. Each night, I have may access the Crew Manifest to investigate the condition of one player, provided I am in one of two places during the night.

Night one, I investigated Sigurd- he was quite stable and innocent.

Last night, I investigated Ares- and I received a report indicating that he is completely insane. In other words, Ares has succumbed to the Nephilim and is GUILTY. He must be lynched now.

It's weird how both Khaan and sigurd were together on the first and third nights.....

Unfortunately this game will not be opened again.
I talked it over with Andres and we agreed to opening this game to get the players involved to spill their guts.

I must commend YLC on the preparations and the theme of this game.
All though on the surface it seemed as if the players were kind of quiet in the game, I suspect a lot of action went on underneath.

But as a player interested in explanations and what ifs, I would like the players to reveal their roles and maybe any positive thoughts they might have.

    My role:

    Subject: Markus Kollen
    Age: 44
    Gender: Male
    Height: 6'3"
    Weight: 241lbs

Subject Status: Staff Sergeant of the ECD under Seraphina Baasch, Prisoner of the Ravager.
Psychological Report: Loyal Member of the ECD (Pro-Town). Markus is an old, grizzled veteran of the constant warfare between the ECD and Combine, and he is as loyal as one can be. Markus is utterly devoted to the ECD cause, and his commanding officer Sera as well. He constantly follows her around, even against her protestations. Markus also has a knack for finding people with talent, something that has played well into Sera's hands.

Markus, compared to many, is a very happy man, with a wife and 6 children back home. He has led a happy, long life so far, and due to his robust health that truly belongs in someone half his age, he will likely live on for many more years to come.
Access Privileges: Sergeant Kollen is allowed to continue to use his normal activities. He may pick whomever he likes to escort each night, and thus prevent any harm befalling them by protecting them with his own life.

However, such contact allow Markus to gauge whether they are a capable person and if they have any hidden talents. He may not know the talent however.

Markus's abilities require him to be by the side of his chosen crewmate, limiting their effective range and requiring him to be in the same Location with them.

You spend most of the night continuing your observations, coming to the conclusion their is nothing special or peculiar about him.
On night two I tried to follow Ichigo:
As you decide to watch over Ichigo for the night, taking off after the private in a hurry, you are stopped by security guards who escort you to a interrogation room. It is there that seat you in front of your commanding officer, Seraphina Baasch (TevashSzat). You look at each other knowingly, each exchanging words silently, knowing each other to be innocent. Seraphina keeps you the rest of the night, idly chatting about this or that, before letting you go off to your room.
On night three I thought I would protect seireikhaan:
You spend all night watching over Grigorii, noting all shades and shadows nearby for threats, but none come. It appears Grigorii is safe for now, and you finally notice something about him - he has a nack for computers, and seems to have access to the Crew Manifest.
On night four I followed Quintus around:
You watch over Quintus during the night, following him wherever he goes. As the night wears on, it's quite apparent that Quintus is just another crewman, nothing special about him at all. You sigh, and head back to your rooms to catch a few minutes of sleep before the restarting of the Inquiry.

As you can see I appeared to be a simple townie. Since I was an Engineer, I spend every turn on the Engine Room. Through my mysterious Psychological Report, I assumed I might be one of the potential recruted for the Nephilim. But as far as the game lasted, I made sure every ECD and Nephilim were lynched, to make sure JCNC town won.

YLC had an unanticipated situation which has deprived him of internet access for the indefinite future. There's no way for a game to continue when the host can't run it.

I never did want to kill shlin28. I really was a Nephilim hunter. I told you the truth about my abilities. I was going to be on your side until the Nephilim were gone where then we would move to massacre all the pro town roles through lynch and then murder (we already had seireikhaan, Sigurd, and Chaotix27 flagged without using TheFlax's ability ).

We would indeed leave the innocent townies alone as best we could.

    Gender: Male
    Height: 5'9"
    Weight: 205lbs

Subject Status: Assassin of the 13th Operative Corp
Psychological Report: Loyal Member of the Operatives (Pro-Operative). Guntram Faust is the pride and joy of the Psi Corp. Living testament to the advances in biotechnology, Guntram Faust is genetic perfection. Originally an untrained psi, Guntram was sent through rigorous training programs until he was broken down enough for them to properly mold as they saw fit.

Guntram is a Psychokinetic of incredible power. He is able to deconstruct and reconstruct matter as he sees fit, allowing his imagination to bleed into reality. If it were not for his limited range, Guntram would pose a major security threat and would have been terminated.

However, he pays a terrible price when he kills a living creature - as he deconstructs the matter, he absorbs the psyche of the dieing individual, incorporating it into his own. Methods are already underway of relieving him of the burden before he goes insane.
Psionic Abilities: Guntram is well beyond even a P1 Psychokinetic, and the Psi Corp have decided that the best way to use his abilities is for the assassination of specific targets. Each night, Guntram selects one person - that person will die, and no ability besides their own can save them. Such people cannot be revived either, and no evidence may be gleaned from them.

Guntram will become increasingly unstable the more he kills - after his 4th kill, he can no longer kill again without risking severe mental breakdown.

Guntram's ability is limited locally, and thus can only be used on someone located in the same Location he is in.

Other: Guntram's partner for this mission is Operative Reimon Leclair (TheFlax)

For some reason or another boudica piqued my interest on night 1, while Rhythmic got the attention of TheFlax. In the first night I restrained myself from killing while TheFlax investigated boudica and got the weird result. In the second night, he investigated Rhythmic while I tried to kill boudica and killed shlin28 by accident.

A quick ransacking of the room reveals that she is not here or is hiding, but before you can search further, one of those human idiots barges in, making tons of noise.

Quiet as death, you repel up the side of the wall and hang onto the ceiling, waiting for the opportune moment. It comes, and you drop to the floor and palm thrust him in the face as he turns to look. His head dissolves into subatomic particles as the body falls limply to the floor, bleeding out. You walk away, thoroughly irritated at a wated night.

    One Kill used
As soon as this happened, I was getting vibes of all our failed attempts in Whispers of the Night again! I decided to try and get boudica lynched by calling her out. It was working and seireikhaan did investigate her.

Night 3 we kinda got worried that everyone had a role. I decided to push harder in the thread on boudica, get the mob to kill her for me (did not really know or care that she was Nephilim then), and then moved to knoick of this monstrosity Rhythmic.

But this woman stopped me as you know!

The Nephilim's plea touches you - she is extremely beautiful, almost able to break your focus and your guard. It would be hard to fight both at the same time with such a disorienting effect, so you concede her point for now and leave, intent on returning to finish the job.

    No kills used.
Now I did think boudica did this initially, after all, I had just went after her, why not try and stop me? The push to have boudica lynched was going well, but then I decided, this seireikhaan guy might investigate me and is still not so scummy, might as well reveal and go public.

So I did and told you all Rhythmic was the beast I almost killed, so then you killed him and vindicated me, good!

Then the entire Lust thing started, all of it I told in the thread is really what I got and thought:

So I did. Wasn't exactly sure if boudica was Lust or not or if working with her was bad (could kill seireikhaan and Seamus through her), but TheFlax made a great argument that convinced me, so we gutted her. My partner was spot on yet again!

We were going to lay low for a while, gather more roles, and letting the Nephilim or whatever kill more, while making seireikhaan and Sigurd look bad so that it wouldn't seem odd if we lynched them. I had expected by the end of the game, I would be lynched as well as those two, but TheFlax did such a great job of hiding.

So thank you to YLC for hosting, it was a ton of fun even for a short game.

The fact he was not discovered is a testament to his inherent skill and psychic ability. Reimon, to the unfamiliar, appears to have multiple personalities, but in fact has a single personality. However, due to Telepathic abilities, he is able to quickly and easily shift his own personality using either remembered or nearby ones as a base.

His Telepathy extends to directly influencing another's mind, allowing him to even manipulate his apparent sex, something Reimon does with significant relish. It's a known fact Reimon that prefers this feminine personality for direct communication with people, as both a way to protect himself, and to unnerve those speaking with him.
Psionic Abilities: Reimon is a P1 Telepath, the highest current ranking. During the night, Reimon may select one person to read. If that person did anything during the day or night, or has been visited during the night, Reimon will become aware of it.

I was the other Operative Reenk Roink mentioned, I think it is now obvious we did not have town's best interest at heart. I got lucky at first with my picks and so very early on RR and I decided we should kill boudica. After the unsuccessful kill attempt, I started pushing more and more for her death in my PMs with RR. Except for that I didn't do much, staying inconspicuous during the day phases while RR took the spotlight.

You didn't? What was your winning goal then? Eliminate everyone?

Sorry, I had forgotten we got our win condition in a separate PM. Here it is:

Your objective is to eliminate the power roles in this game - you need not kill a single non power role to win. Once all power roles are dead, you win.

Also, if you wish, I can provide you with a skeleton for a cover PM - it is up to you to fill in the rest.

Forgive me for not including all of that in your original PM, I was very tired when I wrote it.

I was totally honest in this one. Honestly...
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.
