1:00 I started gathering my supplies on my external and spare hard drives

2:52 The transferring of important data is finished and the installing of windows 7 began...

3:12 What is this? It needs an activation code!?! alright now where did I set that thing down at....

3:21 AHA! Found you! XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.... ERROR?!? How could this be!!!

3:25 After reading the code to my self over 30 times I found out an O was really a 0... Well onto the install!!

4:00 Finally the beaut.... Wow, no internet... No games... Weird UI.... I've been duped!!!

4:11 Now where is my windows xp install disc...

5:01 AHA!! here it is... but there's a weird goo on it... God what am I to do?? *Licks sleeve* there we go good as new...

5:15 Windows xp is installed and ready... Ahhh relaxation... home... life is good, now for some music.... ahem..... MUSIC NOW!!! ..... *Birds chirping outside* Staring out the window I told the birds to goto heck and stop singing.... Now where are my sound drivers.... NOT THERE?!?! GAH!!!! (Note: there was considerable swearing and one of my neighbors called the cops during this whole escapade.)

Windows 7 is the beta form of new vista. It looks really pretty, but it's a pain since it's not compatible with any of my old files. I can't wait till its officially released. From my brief foray into their lines, it seems great, just not... compatible.

Had a mini lan about 2 weeks ago, half of us were using Windows 7. Copied straight to and from the PC's running it via our network and USBs. Hell, it even ran the original Unreal Tournament acting as host to an XP and a Vista machine!
