Because it's a game involving a ball, but it's not football*, so obviously it must be one of the inferior "sports" involving a ball, all of which can be lumped together and classed as barbarianball, since, well, they're quite irrelevant and quite frankly barbarian sports, nothing like the esteemed and beautiful game of football...     People keep bringing this up, but "learning disability" doesn't mean that they're slow. The schools webpage mentions ADD, dyslexia and dysgraphia. Whoever wrote the news article was just playing that angle becaus of their personal bias or to make it more interesting.
