I personally feel no reason to be suspicious of Shlin, to be clear.
However, I have some rather severe reservations about the legitimacy of Tevash's claims to be detective.

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.
