Right on cue...
What makes these kind of threads repetitive, unhelpful, malicious troll-spam is that no-one ever offers to do any of the work necessary to rectify the situation.
Let's say, just for the sake of the argument, that there are some ahistorical elements in the EB1 unit roster. If you really want to help us, then I suggest that you
1. Research, source, quote, cite and annotate a unit roster based on stringent academic standards and provide unimpeachable evidence for every single facet of your presentation. Spend at least as much time on answering spam posts as you do working on the project.
After the year or two that it takes to complete point 1,
2. Model, Animate and Skin all the Units. P.S. That's 500 units in EB2
3. Code the units into the Game.
4. Stat, Playtest and Balance the Units.
5. Release to the Public.
That was the easy part. Now you have to swim in the sewer as you get hog-piled by people who think that they know better.
Criticism is not constructive unless you can suggest a solution to the problems that you have so much fun rubbing in people's faces. Even then, if you repeat the same crap over and over again it's just crap no matter how right you may be.
I'd like to see some of our serial critics come up with a complete unit roster that has absolutely no historically questionable elements in it.
