Default recruitable bodyguards with AI saka reform

while playing as Bactria the saka got their reforms(not my fault, it where the Seleucid's that lost it)
anyway there seems to be a problem
the saka FM still got their old bodyguards
and right now I am being attacked by stacks which have in them as normal units saka bodyguards
so I guess some mistake has happened and the saka didn't get their bodyguard as bodyguard but as a normal unit

Saka bodyguards change with the march of time, not with the Saka refroms.

ok thanks that cleared up one thing

but the march of time hasn't been there yet and they have those only-defeatable-by-someone-with-a-giant-canopener kataphract bodyguards and they serve as normal units

It's due to the limitations of the R:TW engine. You can add additional reforms using clever scripting, but these cannot affect bodyguards. The only way to reform bodyguards is to use the original "Marian reform" event, which has been renamed "March of Time" in EB. There is nothing the team can do about this.

Off course, they could make the reform dependent on the "March of Time" as well, but that wouldn't be realistic either.
