Default I Saw a Fat Pigeon Today

and I'm pretty sure I could've caught it. The thing was just standing there pecking. I stared him straight in the eyes and knew at that moment I could run him down like the rat he is. The pigeon had some real nerve staring this ball of man down.

    Good show pigeon, good show.
There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

I read this thread because I thought he said "fought it" not "caught it", but this is still entertaining nonetheless.

On a related note, I saw a pigeon get killed in mid air by a crow. I was just walking home. Then the crow got off the corpse and flew to a nearby tree and just stared at me. I ran.

Yet on another related note, all of the squirrels around where I live seem to be extremely stupid.

They run across the street fine, but then they wait until you're almost up to them and suddenly dart towards the front of your car, causing you to brake very hard and often, almost get in a crash.

This has happened to me like 5 times already and I am seriously considering just not braking for squirrels now

Squirrels are pretty evil I say, remember that pack of black squirrels attacking and killing a dog ? Should be somewhere in the news of the weird thread.

Pigeons (most birds infact) make me uncomfortable....truth be told, pigeons not only make me uncomfortable, those reddish eyes of theirs and their habit to go 'grooo-grooo' all the time scares me a bit

I was outstared by a huge wild pig once. Well, I was in the woods hiking and came round a corner & there it was - unscared, fast & armed.
I stopped & started walking backwards after some scary moments. The piggie did nothing, just stared....~:
