    Question Romani: Why build Villas?

    Depending on the size of the settlement, it could be a Villa for the Magistrate, for the Proconsul etc.

    I know it lets you recruit free-slaves as poorly armed militia and Diplomats, but for similar money and time you may as well buy a military barracks of sorts. How many of these building do you really need?

    The Romani start off with ample sources for Diplomats and free-slaves to begin with.

    So why bother with building anymore villas anywhere else anyway?
