Thread: Raiding is fun

    Default Raiding is fun

I think this picture says it all.

That geisha is out there. She can't be bargained with. She can't be reasoned with. She doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And she absolutely will not stop, ever, until you and all your heirs are dead.

Hah, that gives me an idea for a gimmick campaign. Build up a full size army as uesugi or shimazu and march it all the way across the island without reinforcing it. Bonus points for starting in 1580

This is a bit of a gimmick campaign.

    The rules are:
Kyushu, Nagato and Iyo are my home provinces.
I can't occupy any other province with an army for 2 consecutive turns.
Every army outside my home provinces must be led by the daimyo or an heir.
No geishas, except to defend aganst other geishas.

The idea is to see if it's possible to raid (or assassinate) the other clans out of existence. Oda is now gone, but this has resulted in a rather large rebel nation in the middle of the map. I have to go through that to get at anyone else.

Heh, sounds like fun. Assassination by ninja is very viable if you have enough koku and patience. My strategy is to pump out as many as humanly possible (preferably at least +1 honor), to the point where I'll be making 4 or 5 attempts against an heir in a single turn. Heirs first and then daimyo of course.
