France fought against the colonial English troops, Holland was the first to recognize America's independence, and the UK and America are good buddies nowadays. How it relates to Texas I dunno doesn't everything in the end relate to Texas??

Are they the first 3 countries to recognise Texas as an independent state?

They needed cheese. Oh, they make beer and beef products, but Texans don't make anything like enough cheese. So really, it's all Wisconsin's fault ...

Yorkshire would never give up her independence, no matter what, nah then!

There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.
