Well I just got my ass handed to me by Iroquois when my very large French army tried to invade their territory! The blasted AI hid about 40% of his troops in tall grass. He had so many men to start with I didn't realise such a large number were missing. Routed my overextended cavalry along with some supporting militias and when that was gone, the Iroquois managed to storm my lines.

And I suck at placing static guns.

I would never have lost such a battle in MTW, RTW or M2TW or about any mods for those games.

So I'd say the new game is a huge improvement over previous titles.

Now back to burning pagans!

yeah, i got my ass handed to me in the demo the first few times,but on the other hand the camera is not as responsive as it is in MTW2,as not sure whether I'll like it,as it was giving me some trouble in the demo as any rate.

Public summary since I was subbing: Riga is taken, D-whatever east of there is under token siege, the Order army that left Riga to the west was entirely routed, and Schwartz-whatever, the general moving towards Hrodna, suffered a cavalry raid against his catapults. One bloody catapult crewman survived the raid (Took me too long to withdraw off the map and he regenerated I guess) so the catapults aren't gone, but I don't know if they can still be used in an assault with just one crewman. The noble citizens of Hrodna anxiously await the answer to that very question.

I'll let Zim make the formal diplomatic announcement.

That's odd. There shouldn't be any reason your password would stop working.

I'm sorry I've been absent these last two days. Real life had been hitting me pretty hard but things will ease up once I finish this test. I'll grab the save and reset the password as soon as I can tomorrow. It will enable me to give the Mongols their cash injection for the turn as well.
