1) Am I using too many character? I'm trying to involve and make reference to a lot of different characters to give a more realistic sense of a kingdom rather than just one man running the whole show. But I don't want it to be so that y'all start having problems remembering who's who. Less characters, more characters, just right?

2) My chapters have been getting longer as the story becomes more involved. Do y'all want the chapters shorter or should I continue just writing until I reach natural stops? Which chapter so far was the "best" length?

1) No, you aren't. That's what makes it interesting. You don't need to write a background story about every Hoplite, but a few Synedroi and usurpers like just now are perfect.

2) That's a quite interesting questions, because the chapters in my AAR are as long as your last one.... *shock*
