Default I'm new ... and I already need help

Hello everybody,I'd like to introduce myself a little before I start begging you :)

My name is Radovan,my last name is Kuburic.I'm from Serbia and I'm 16 years old.
I liked RTW when I was a kid,and during the winter holiday,I gave it a chance once more.It was EPIC!
But then I found that there are mods for this wonder game and I decided to download one(I love history,so EB is my choice).I spent hours just reading the unit preview on the EB homepage. When I was done ,I downloaded version 1.0,1.1,1.2 of EB and I was so happy!
But alas, everything failed,as it usually does when I try to install something from the Internet.
But with your help,I can play it :D
If anyone has the spare time, unbreakable will, and kindness beyong comprehension to help me do the installation step by step(because I'm an idiot),he'll have my eternal gratitude.Heck,I'll even dedicate my first EB campaign to him!

I'd like to kindly ask the moderators and admins not the reffer me to a help topic, because I tried that and I still can't play the game

So here is where I stand now.I've just installed RTW and I patched it to 1.5 as specified in the instructions. The game is installed in a desktop folder.

    What now?

    Yours truly,

    Kubura

you should download first EB 1.1 then 1.2 from main site.

then install one by one to Program Files/Activision/Rome Total War folder.
if you check trivial script in the installation process (in the end stage) trivial script makes a shortcut in your desktop, windows menu.

it is advisable for you to look up "Frequently asked questions"

click this, a very detailed installation guide with pictures : https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=80270
and do not forget to install official patches : https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=109936

    and of course have fun

That should be: Install RTW somewhere other than Program Files and patch it up to 1.5, then install EB versions one by one into the same folder.

    For instance, C:\RomeEB.

    C:\Documents and Settings\Rasa.SENSEI-A6A77749\Desktop\rome toal war

DO I install the patch in there or in the Rome total war folder?

I'm really sorry for troubling you all,but I exausted a lot of my options and I SOOOOO want to play this game!

Installing under your desktop should work I think, but it may slow down your computer.

Yes, you install EB into the very same folder that you installed RTW in. So in both installers, you should write C:\Documents and Settings\Rasa.SENSEI-A6A77749\Desktop\rome toal war as the installation folder.

Make sure to install the Trivial Script, it will make it easier to run the game.

Thank you Bovi and thank you Anthraphoenix for responding quickly. If I install the game,I'll spill a LOT of blood in your name.I'm going to wait and see the results now. And while I'm at it,I remember I managed to somehow install the patch earlier, but it kept CTD whenever I clicked the start button for the campaign and also I couldn't start any custom battles or anything related to the game, for that matter.I could only enter the game, not play it :(
Is there a way to fix that if I don't get it right this time?
