What is the AOR for phalax, (also mercenary pool) units for non-hellenic factions?

As I started to invade egypt and anatolia under my Pahlava campaign, It became very hard for me to get my cavalry units from Mesopotamia to there so I use merc. phalanxes and may other foot infantry for my invasion.
I just wondered do I have a chance to recruit phalanxes with my foreign barracks under vassal kingdom goverment?
Plus anyone has any idea where merc. phalanxes can be hired?
It becomes a real nightmare to invade the lands across Euphrates for Pahlava, Methinks EB team reflects their historical weakness very well like that

AOR for Native Phalanx by Pahlava with level 3 regional barracks is every region from Baktria, Armenia, some parts of Asia Minor (only 4 provinces though: Pokr Hayk, Kappadokia and Kappadokia Pontika and Phyrgia), the Levant, Egypt, Saba, Qataban and Hadramaut, and the North African coast from Kyrene all the way to the city west of Atiqa.

No phalanxes in other desert provinces that those though (eg. Nabataia).

You should be able to hire mercenary phalax throughout western Seleucid lands, Asia Minor, around Greece and in northern Egypt IIRC.
