Ok, so you are playing Rome: Total War and some of the in game units do not speak on the battle field, the example you've given is the Macedonian General's Bodyguard and the Sarmatian Infantry (Merc units with spears, those guys )?

Request mod move this thread to the R:TW sub forum.

    Welcome Mithick666,
Might I ask if you are using any modifications - if you are, it's possible that the mod may lack voices for these units. You may wish to inform the modding team of the mod you are using or try re-installing the mod (just run the executable again).

If not, this could be a problem with files not installing properly. You may wish to attempt re-installing. Doing this will lose your saved games, but there is a way of rescuing them

If you installed R:TW to the default location, then you need to navigate to either "C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War" should you have the Gold Edition or "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War" should you have the standard non-Gold version. Non-English language versions of R:TW/Windows may result in different file paths, but the translation should be pretty much the same.

Once you are in, you should find a folder called "saves". Copy and paste it into your "My Documents" or, if your are using Vista "Documents" folder. Once you have done that, uninstall and re-install the game.

After you have completed that process, launch R:TW, start a campaign and then quit. This creates all the files that you need to finish the process.

Now, move the "saves" folder back into your R:TW directory. Once you've done that, your ready to play.

Hope this is useful, and don't worry about your English - we can understand fine
