Don't be to hard on CA apparently (well according the PC Gamer UK) the AI in Empire is and I quote 'A bastard on hard difficulty settings'.

Good to see this place has Comic Sans MS and Green. Looks like the Helios will be delayed for this month. BTW Hi to all TWC refuagees I just hope the .org fanboys don't mind us invading your space.
