You can't give us a hard time.
Those still posting at TWC are so because of difficult conditions.
Children unable to debate properly, Nationalist spouting out false claims, spammers etc etc.
These conditions makes the TWC poster that passes these test without getting an infraction and beat these groups down to a pulp, to be tough and well-trained.
We got high morale and won't rout and also blessed with a powerful charge and fire arrows.

lol, I will give you that. I generally find the Center a little too rough, which is why I mostly post here. I know that there are lots of good, serious, intelligent, and cleanmouthed posters on the Center, but there are also tons and tons of noobs constantly swearing and insulting people and not seriously debating at all, just insulting. When I am feeling kinda p*ss*ed though and I want to let off, that is when I go to the Center. :P It is nice to have both.

"The Guild" skin is the default one, so he probably is using it. I personally despite the "The Guild" skin. I loved the old RTW skin and I use that some times. The "Sengoku", "Euro English", and "I-Bulletin" are all great alternatives. I think the main guild skin does not do as good a job at looking pub-y(I assume that's the intent), and could certainly use less square edges.

I have broadband, and I still use the Dial Up skin. I come from a usenet background though, which uses plain text, so I'm used to a minimalist GUI. That said, I'm also used to an interface with lots of user-defined functions, which vBulletin lacks, but I suppose that's the nature of web forums.

TWC...hmm I'm a member there, but it went through some stuff a few years back and I think I got myself banned for protesting some outrageous things the admins were doing.

IMO the layout of TWC is too confusing, the scheme just clashed and it was impossible to tell who is of what rank! I just saw all these maces and ranks that meant nothing to me.

Here its easy, member group is written, moderators are in green, admins in red. Creative Assembly members in purple. Easy!

Anyway, the ranks, the Curia and such are the reason I mainly like TWC. Not that this place is bad, I like this place too (I like TWC moderation a lot better though).

Many got banned - myself included - for less than satisfactory reasons, but that TWC administration is nowhere near the current, I assure you. The guys who were 'battling' those guys became the new Administration.

The colors here are a bit hard to see (I have to search thoroughly to see the CA members).

But to TWC being down, I think this new server is doing more bad than good. I also heard Garb spent some of the money on a vacation, but y'know rumours.

Yep, I agree to an extent. It's much more tranquile here, more peaceful. One look in the Political Mudpit at TWC gives you a headache . I also like the junior member thing the .Org has, it's good at nipping spam accounts in the bud.

or
Sim and GED are updating the hosting server

Yeah, so far i'ts been a bumpy ride with the new server, but as posted before better now than when Empire is released.

for me personally, i dont care about Empire - yes, i will play it, but its still about month till it will be available, then about few months until it will be modable - until then i plan to continue working on some mods/campaigns etc... (and btw, i already preordered the game)
