I'd say that's not the ideal solution, though if you want to try it there's no harm. I would advise that you try getting hold of an old PC on which to run MTW. You can hook this up to your existing monitor, keyboard and mouse via a KVM switch. Much easier in the long run than the complex method you have in mind.
