Default The Panic & Cheer Thread

So it is getting closer every day to release.

People are waking at night with cold sweats from dreams or hot sweats and shakes because they have no demo.

We only have the seriously optimistic and the seriously pessimistic. Of course that may change 30 times a day, depending on what 4th or 5th hand information is going around.

Jack Lusted has given us more concrete information on the Campaign game than we have gotten from the PR Staff in the last year. And I must say the more I know the more I look forward to being able to try it out.

Of course even Jack’s information is on a previous build of the game…so it may just be getting better all the time.

Or if you are a panicking pessimist They are destroying the whole thing, its as buggy as an ant hill, or what ever….

Anyway feel free to panic or cheer for now…I am sure that when/if a demo comes you can all talk about that and this thread can die…

I was going to have a panic poll, but I can’t figure it out…

    never mind

I am going to put myself down as cautiously optimistic

No panic at my end. Just plan and simple pessimism and low expectations

Exclamation Re: The Panic & Cheer Thread

C'mon, CBR! Come on! Low expectations?!

I do suppose it has its uses. If ETW if glorious, you'll thoroughly enjoy everything about it.

I'm a bit stressed. I'm not sure my computer can play the game. I'll find out tomorrow whether I have a year to wait or not.

Yeah got nothing to lose do I. Based on earlier TW releases there are bugs and balance issues to spoil my fun. And then there might be some design decisions to ruin the rest. With ETW I have seen a few positive and some not so positive things so far.

I'd say that on average there have been more positive than negative things so far, with CA saying that they have sorted out a few of the negatives.

At the moment I'm optimistic and waiting on the demo to really show me how the game will play.
