The Total War community has to be the only gaming community to be so excited for a game released in a week that we have to mod the demo.

We are industrious fanatics with far too much modding talent and time on our hands . We're probably also the only gaming community that manage to release mods literally within minutes of the game going gold.

We aren't the only one. Battlefield series (especially 1942) had mods right away and had mods for demos. There are so many mods for the Battlefield series. They probably have 10 times more mods then Total War.

Yes but seeing as the battlefeid series is a multiplayer central game series most of the mods are usless outside of its paultry singleplayer due to the fact that very few servers support them.

Well I wanted to test the therory of 2000 grenades flying at men. well I couldn't get all of them to throw but will try closer next time. I ran out of time and need to go to sleep so will try again tomorrow.



Oh it was 2000 men when I started but I had to kill some men crossing the river and looks like I lost 500 of them so far lol.

At a quick glance I see eight cannon balls flying at your men. Looks like you are lucky to still have 1500 when you saved…

To use a mod, you have to unpack and then mod the files yourself. Its not easy yet. I can't even get the files unpacked.

If you do have so many grenades thrown can you post a picture because it's something I can't miss.

Thats awesome. I wonder if it is legal for you to give us the files for that battle?

Modding has always been legal. Since the demo is free and the files are given for free I don't see any how any legal issues could arise .
