"Après moi le déluge"
Yes, at the very front, in the middle of the unit. However, it is not that easy to kill him. The generals don't fight in the actual battles, but prefer to stay far in the back and observe the conflict. The American general made a last stand with the cannons and dragoons on a little hill in my battle (I managed to sorround him), and was amongst the last to die.Believe it or not he was at the head of the column! I didn't really observe how my general unit moved but I know that when I zoomed around with the camera and found the US general, they were in a (stationary) column formation and he was at the very front.
Early on, I charged my general (supported by hussars) into a units of line infantry and horsemen of some sort, and found to my satisfaction that they were not OP'd. My general died just before I reinforced him...![]()
Yeah your probablly right Methuselah, I only had one round in the game before I had to step out. And I guess the general unit just isn't what it used to be since M2TWAlthough I think I've rarely had a general unit turn the tide of a battle if I threw him into the thick of things. So I suppose it's not a big deal if they don't do much but lead and provide morale in ETW.
I am? But I agreed with you. He's in the middle of the front column.Yeah your probablly right Methuselah, I only had one round in the game before I had to step out
So I suppose it's not a big deal if they don't do much but lead and provide morale in ETW.My general was the first in the fray, and amongst the first to die!
