Yeah, i had most the eye-candy turned way down in this battle due to wanting to test load times some more. Really annoying

Glad you guys liked the idea, can't wait for the main event to get here.

Great idea for an AAR! A novel approach looking forward to it!

Finally getting the opportunity to try the demo and would like to try another AAR with a twist when the game is officially released.

I guess I forgot to mention this earlier, but fantastic work guys!

Not only is this a new and fun way of presenting an AAR it is also a good way of getting Org members to work together on a project. Which is great for the community. Hopefully we will see similar AAR's done, maybe even some Hotseat ones so we can have more than two factions.

Thanks guys! We're really happy with the responses we've been receiving.

The key was getting our two styles to mesh, not only with the men and situation we were trying to portray, but with the other writer's style as well! It's a little surprising how well it actually turned out and fills me with a lot of confidence for future projects of this kind. TinCow and I will likely do a few more collabs once ETW hits to refine the technique, but we really won't get to the "main event" until we get our hands on the MP campaign.

I'd love to see this sort of collab style of AAR become popular around the Mead Hall and Throne Room. Not only is it a lot of fun but it gets people working together, which is always a good thing.

Bloody awesome write up Monk. Very impressed. Can't wait to see a full campaign with casulty reports, estimates of enemy strength and strategic appraisals from both sides.

Don't forget to name your regiments in the Campaign, we might get to see the rise and fall and the creation of some famous units within your Armies :D

I can't take all the glory, TinCow was a huge player in helping to iron out the details of this thing as well as serving as the voice of Washington! I'm looking forward to future collabs with him.

Oh you can be sure, I dunno what Cow will be doing with his faction but I know that personally I'll be renaming every single unit I make to something really simple, like a number plus where they were created. If they excel really well they may even earn special names and become my own created "special forces"
