Thread: Any way to install the demo without Steam?

  1. #1

Question Any way to install the demo without Steam?

I tried Empire on my 4 year old desktop...played about as well as I expected (sideshows galore).
I want to try it out on another computer, but not keen on making another 2GB+ download.
Is there an installer that can be run independently of Steam on my WinXP computer?

You can copy the file over and run the .exe that SHOULD work.

find your steam folder, then steamapps/common/empire total war demo

Copy that folder over and it may work. Copying the entire steam folder will, with some more work. If it doesnt work with just the demo folder, PM me and i'll give you the full set of instructions.
