    Default Becoming a member

Um, I was told to post in here to ask about becoming a member. Apparently it gives me the ability to edit posts and vote in polls. This would really help in the RP BtSH as that is what it mainly involves. Thanks.

    Many thanks to Durango!

Becoming a member normally takes a week or two, it's achieved by a show of general interest in the TW series as well as being helpful in various area of the .org.

If you're involved in the BtSH game, PM TinCow and tell him your situation.

OK, I will. I knew what it took to be a member but I was wondering if I could just be granted them options to help me become more involved. No problems though.

    Many thanks to Durango!

    Promotion to Member
Promotion to Member is based on participation, conduct and contributions in your posts. Quantity of posts doesn't matter - you could be promoted on the basis of one amazing post, although just showing the ability to interact with the membership in a helpful and polite manner is easily sufficient. In other words, you don't need to do something special, just enjoy yourself whilst following the Forum Rules above. Introducing yourself (if you have not already done so) in the HAIL New Members! (Introductions) III thread doesn't hurt either!

Promotions are handled manually by the Guild Staff, and are generally done en masse. So as a very quick rule of thumb: if you've been here for a couple of weeks and been posting reasonably regularly during that time, you should be promoted to Member.

In any case, the staff will always try to help you if they can. If you feel perhaps that you've been mistakenly overlooked (as does happen on occasion), your best bet is to either PM TosaInu or Ser Clegane and explain your situation.

Thanks all, but it seems someone took notice as I'm now a member. Thanks whoever it was.
